Surfer, Dude

I generally like movies about surfing - documentaries, fiction and even animated flicks. While this movie started out fine, by the end, I really had no idea why the movie was made. Nothing really happens. Nothing. Furthermore, this movie is actually only 75 minutes long (without the credits)! That’s pretty short, but it fits since there isn’t really any story.I did like the beginning though - there are cool surfing shots, lots of specialized surfer lingo, and a cool introduction to McConaughey’s character as a legendary surfer. And that was not all, the beginning also gives us an exotic high-tech firm w/3D virtual technology, a surfer reality show and even a flashy/upscale topless beach party (it was very well done!).However, in terms of where all these elements go, the movie tanks. McConaughey’s character walks around confused and dejected because there’s no surf … all while he’s continually assaulted by the high tech firm that’s pressuring him to sign a contract.As a movie, it’s pretty terrible. However, I must say that I still enjoyed a lot of the above elements for their fun-spirited nature. For the general viewer though, there’s definitely no point in seeing this movie.

Thomas Jane gets naked in “Hung”

“Hung” continued  last night with the charming Thomas Jane as its star, trying to make his way into a new career in prostitution. (Too bad there couldn’t be a crossover to “Secret Diary of a Call Girl” for him to get some tips from Belle.) Thomas Jane again gets naked, showing off that gorgeous body of his, although we still don’t get to see his monster penis that the show is titled after.

I really liked this movie. This is not a B movie, although the title is rather hokey. I like the original title better, but on the other hand it might not have piqued my interest if it hadn’t had “werewolf” in the title! It is a horror story and a love story. The acting is above average and the cinematography is absolutely beautiful. The story is somewhat based on a true story about a man tried and imprisoned for 15 murders in 19th century Spain. His defense was that he was in fact, a werewolf and had no control over himself once he transformed. The murders are quite gruesome. The few scenes of animal abuse disturbed me more, but that’s just me.

Denise Richards Goes To Extremes To Boost Career

Here are some pictures I don’t think anyone would ever expect to see of Denise Richards. She is looking better than ever these days in my opinion and has a new reality television show for some reason. She feels the need to boost her ratings or something so she decides to sunbath topless while shooting. Now on television this would be blurred out, but someone was rad enough to snap us some pictures. I think with age this celebrity babe has only gotten hotter.
